Where to go, What to eat, What to buy..when you tour in Vietnam

I would like to write something about Vietnam in order to introduce you about my country. I hope that it might be useful for everybody in our class who wants to visit Vietnam, my country.

Where to go? What are about tourist attractions in Vietnam?


The most especial beauties in Vietnam are the very beautiful beaches and really wild islands from the North to South of Vietnam. They are very beautiful, wild, warm and safe. Therefore, the most favorite thing in Vietnam that Vietnamese people and tourists does like is swimming and taking sunbath (but be careful with the sunlight in Vietnam because the weather is humid and hot there, so your skin might be burned in the sunshine without observation...hichic... The next special things are rivers, lakes and mountains. They created my country's history and culture, so you can understand a bit about us, Vietnamese custom and traditional whereby you know about their original and history. About the historical monuments, we have a lot. Most of them are the old and ancient buildings of palace, temples, pagodas and museum... We have many kinds of beautiful places for you to discover and enjoy

What to eat? Yeah, that is the second important thing… hehe





The favorite food that tourists want to eat is seafood. Seafood in my country is various, and really fresh, and... not so expensive... (That sounds good, right? hihi).. About Vietnamese food, the favorite kinds of food are many kinds of vegetable, many kinds of meat such as folk, beef, chicken, duck, fish, snail, shell-fish, mussel… Vietnamese food is focused on good smell, delicious taste and good performance. Generally, Vietnamese food is seemed different taste with different areas. Food in the North sounds a bit weak smell and taste, and not too much focusing on performance. In contraction, in the middle of Vietnam, food is much focused on performance, strong smell and much spicy. *-* In the South, food sounds sweet, and many kinds of food here are cooked with coconut milk. From that, which kind of food do you want to try and enjoy?


About drink and fruit: Have you ever try Vietnam coffee which is the most famous product? Vietnamese likes to enjoy Coffee with condensed milk which is called “ ice coffee milk”. It taste good, but I should tell you our favorite coffee is a bit strong ( not weak like American coffee), so you should to try first before you take more… ^_^ Friut, we have various kinds of tropical fruit, and fruit is delicious, fresh and good, too. Fruit is to much so that I can not tell and describe about it here )-(. However, Id like to mention that you should try it on someday ^-^

What to buy?

Some products which are special and good in Vietnam are souvenir, cotton, painting, pottery, clothe, leather-made product. My traditional dress is “AO DAI”, and a lot of tourist come to Vietnam want to be made one. I am proud of our traditional dress. The girl in that dress is so beautiful, too sweet and graceful. You will be like that if you put this dress up.


Wow.. My introduction sounds so long. Hope you feel interested in and have a desire to visit in my country on someday.

A FROZEN ROSE

I had an extremely special gift, but i just regret that i could not bring it to me when i came to the US. That is a frozen rose.

That was the day i never forget. I went home in a tedious mood after a long day at work. I was going to key the door of my house with a strange feeling " no body home!!! where are my younger sisters and brother?" Looking at the door where there was a note "Please open the freezer to take your food for your dinner tonight", i felt happy and grateful at their kinds ( i was so hungry.). After opened the door, I turned the light on, speeded towards the freezer. Oh, there was a message again in the freezing part of the freezer "your food is here", i felt somewhat so strange that day, but i still kept going to follow all directions to get food. Opening the door of the Freezer, suddenly some loud noise out from the curtain behind me horrified me. As soon as i saw the rose insight the freezing part, i was listening to the "happy birthday" song from my siblings. I was moved to tears when my younger sister who got angry with me in a long time said: " That is the gift you like most, a rose. We just give you only one rose with the meaning that you also like a rose. Hopefully, you are always nice, young and lovely like the frozen rose which never fades away." They wanted to be the first ones celebrating my birthday (the next day is my birthday). I held her to say thanks and sorry for my fault and did the same thing with others. That I was so happy with the love i received is something more than the frozen rose and the cake that we were enjoying. I loved my gift and my siblings too much.

To be loved is the worthless gifts that everyone always needs in life. Thus, i have tried to be good day by day because of my relatives, my family.

Welcome to visit Sarah Blog !

I was so suprised about the beauty of the US, especaily California, at the first look when i came here, I told mysefl: "what a very beautifull country is!"and, I knew that my dream was going to come truth.

I am still happy being here so far. Now, i am with all of you in composition class that is one more happiness for me. (That is because i had passed all classes of Spring semester in a short time). I hope we will enjoy and have alot of nice momories for 2 months. I am sure that we will have learnt alot from Ms. Vanessa, our teacher, and from one another.

In order to know more about one another. I'd like to tell something about me. I am a Vietnam girl, graduted Economic Univeristy in Vietnam in Marketing major. I do like Marketing because it is always new, creative and never limited, so i come here for continuing to learn more about it. What i do in free time is talking with family and friends, going picnic, going to Karaoke, watching movie, TV, reading and traveling. I think my hobby is various, so hopefully i got some is the same as some of your hobbies, and we all can enjoy with one another, maybe some Karaoke, picnic...
